Join us June 7-8 as Dr. Owen Strachan, Provost and Research Professor of Theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary, equips us to answer the claims and confusion of the transgender movement and egalitarian theology.
Our 2024 Equipping Conference is designed to give you the theological tools to help you think biblically about these issues and engage the lies of the enemy with truth and grace. We trust the Lord to use His truth to destroy these satanic lies and deliver those held captive by sin (2 Cor. 10:3-5).

Each conference registration before May 1, will include one free copy of Owen’s new book: The War on Men. Also included with registration are light breakfast snacks and lunch for Saturday’s sessions. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food for dinner or go out to a local dining establishment.
Please note: There will be no childcare provided or arranged by the church for the conference on Friday and Saturday. Nursery will be provided for the morning services on Sunday.On Sunday, June 9, Owen will be teaching during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 a.m., and preaching the morning message beginning at 10:45 a.m. If you don’t already attend a local church, we invite you to come to hear Dr. Strachan preach at Kootenai Church on this Sunday.
Dr. Owen Strachan
Provost and Research Professor of Theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary
Dr. Owen Strachan is Provost and Research Professor of Theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary. Before coming to GBTS he served as Associate Professor of Christian Theology and Director of the Residency Ph.D. Program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned his Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, his M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his AB from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
He is married and the father of three children. Strachan has authored numerous books, including Reenchanting Humanity: A Theology of Mankind, The Pastor as Public Theologian: Reclaiming a Lost Vision (with Kevin Vanhoozer), Christianity and Wokeness: How the Social Justice Movement is Hijacking the Gospel – and the Way to Stop it, The War on Men, and The Warrior Savior: A Theology of the Work of Christ. Strachan is the former president of the Council on Biblical Manhood & Womanhood, the former director of The Center for Public Theology at MBTS, and the President of Reformanda Ministries.
