Many people have asked how or where they can help after the Army Surplus store in Sandpoint, owned by Cornel and his wife, Kim, burned down on July 4, 2024. In addition to the business being a total loss, many personal items were stored there. The store is insured, but Cornel has only begun to estimate the personal cost of this disaster.
Cornel has asked folks to pray for him and his family, some of whom also worked at the store. While he is not asking for financial assistance, many people still wish to donate, knowing this will be a hardship as he puts his livelihood back together.
