Promises, Blessings, Comfort and Repentance (2 Corinthians 7:1-9)

Paul comes back to his meeting in Macedonia with Titus, a subject he diverged from in chapter 2. He is comforted by the excellent response the Corinthians had to the “Severe Letter”. They had repented to salvation, and he lets them know about his joy over their obedience. An exposition of 2 Corinthians 7:1-9.

Biblical Separation (2 Corinthians 6:15-18)

Paul finishes his encouragement to the Corinthians to be separate from worldly ways and come out of the evil culture they lived in. Knowing they would have to exist in Rome, he reminds them to be separate in their affections. Living in the world but not being of it and thus receiving the blessings that attend salvation. An exposition of 2 Corinthians 6:15-18.

Paradoxes of Christian Ministry (2 Corinthians 6:8-15)

The Ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19-21)

Paul encourages the Corinthians to understand they are ambassadors for God and as such they bring the Gospel to the world by their lives but more importantly by the Word of God. An exposition of 2 Corinthians 5:19-21.

Our Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:16-18)

Salvation reconciled us to the Father and provided many wonderful benefits. Paul reminds the Corinthians that the reconciliation they received from Christ has become their ministry. An exposition of 2 Corinthians 5:16-18.

Learning to Live for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:11-15)

Paul exhorts the Corinthians to live for Christ and to believe the word he is bringing them. He carefully encourages the Corinthians to recognize his open and honest presentation of both his past and of the gospel, warning against those who seek approval based upon their outward appearance and not their heart.

Cornel Rasor

Cornel Rasor

Pastor/Elder

Cornel was raised on a cattle ranch north of Sandpoint with his parents and 4 siblings. He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1974. Cornel studied veterinary medicine at North Idaho College and The University of Idaho. He left college and married Kim Luckey in 1976. He worked in the lumber and logging industry until 1981 when he became the manager of the Army Surplus Store.

Cornel and Kim have 3 children and 16 grandchildren. Cornel was saved in 1975 and has been involved in the teaching ministry for 3 decades. As a young Christian, he was discipled by Jess Whetsel and finds great joy in joining him in ministry at KCC where he is active in teaching and occasional preaching. Cornel has been an elder at KCC since 2014.
