Abraham believed in a God who raises the dead, therefore, he believed that though he would die without receiving the promise of the land, he would be raised to receive it in the coming Kingdom. He expected a full fulfillment of the land promise in the age to come. We tackle the interpretive issue of whether the “city” Abraham expected is fulfilled by Heaven as Amillennialists and Postmillennialists claim.
