Women’s Conference – She Smiles at the Future with Lisa Hughes

Have you ever heard of muscle memory? When your muscles are untrained or don’t know how to respond or do something, the idea is that you practice the movement or response so much that it becomes second nature.

The same is true for us spiritually.

To prepare for uncertainty, trouble, and difficulty, we need to train our spiritual muscles so that they become honed to the Word of God. In trouble, our spiritual health and strength depend on how we’ve prepared our spiritual muscles to immediately resort to the Word of God for courage and steadfastness.

The texts will give us ways to practice our spiritual muscle memory skills so that we’ll respond in a God-honoring and God-exalting way, ready for whatever circumstances we may encounter, and with the ability to Smile at the Future.
