Paul here reminds the Corinthians that the glory of the Old Testament pales in comparison to the glory of the New Testament and the work of the Lord Jesus Christ consummating everything the Old Testament pointed to and anticipated. His speeches bold and to the point, because he has the truth-the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Jews of that time continue to have a veil over their understanding because they would not accept the Messiah. Unbelief today results in the same thing. 2 Corinthians 3:10-16.
